Chiltern TR Group - News 01 February 2025

I trust that you have been keeping safe, warm and dry.
Our next meeting will be this coming Wednesday evening, 5th February, at The Peacock in Henton OX39 4AH. Do come and join us if you can.
There are two things where I would appreciate your thoughts and ideas, please.
The first is Drive it Day, which is Sunday 27th April, and is, as you know, a national celebration of the classic car movement, where enthusiasts take to the road to attend numerous functions and venues all over the country. We do have a few ideas but we need your input too. What would you like to do and where would you like to go ??
Please contact either myself or Aidan but in the meantime, keep the date in your diary.
The second concerns a celebration for the 50th Anniversary of Chiltern TR Group (where did the time go ?). The very first meeting was at The Fox at Ibstone on Wednesday 2nd June 1976. The anniversary will be next year, 2026, but obviously needs a lot of thought and planning. Again, we have some interesting ideas and proposals but we your input too. Think about maybe a summer ball and a trip across the channel or maybe something completely different and let us have your ideas. This special occasion needs a proper celebration !!
