Dear Friends

Our next meeting is this coming Wednesday evening, 6^th November, at The Peacock in Henton, OX39 4AH from 18:30. Please, do come and join us if you can. You can be assured of a warm welcome.

The last meeting in November will be on Saturday 30^th when we visit Nuffield Place, near Henley, when we will see the house and Christmas decorations, tour the gardens and take lunch at The Maker Space. You will receive a reminder near the time but for now, we need numbers to make the necessary bookings. Please RSVP.

Please note that the Christmas Ball at The Lambert Arms on Saturday 7^th December will be the final meeting of 2024.

“It Is now just over 4 weeks to the Annual Chilterns Christmas Ball.

This means, it’s less than 2 weeks to the cut-off date of Wednesday 13^th November, the date I have to pay the bill and provide menu decisions to The Lambert Arms

There are a few outstanding payments, menu choices and room decisions.

In the last week, I have emailed the people with these “outstandings” and if you are one of them, please address these as soon as possible

I’ve had a few couples forced to drop from the attendees list, thus now leaves 6 available places. If you wish to bring family and/or friends please contact me asap, and I do my best to fit you in if, I can.

This will be “first come, first served”
