Lympsham Village Fete and Classic Car Show

This was a lovely traditional village fete with stands of homemade food and craft goods, the important beer stall, a jazz band, coconut shy, a raffle of course, and a good selection of classic cars. Somerset Group were there with about 8 cars (all TR6s apart from a Dolomite), and there were two more of us TR owners, again both TR6s. There were plenty of friendly car owners, mostly locals, with all sorts of marques. The weather was scorching which always adds to any outdoor event. Maybe we'll turn up again next year with a few more members, and maybe a wider selection of models.
