Chipping Sodbury Classic Run – 24 June 2018

This year's Chipping Sodbury Classic Run proved to be "as good as it gets". We had brilliant weather and a turnout of 180 cars and motor cycles with most types represented and a good selection of splendid TRs from Brunel and elsewhere.We were treated to a scenic run through the Gloucestershire and Wiltshire countryside with a welcome coffee and cake stop at the Chippenham Rugby Club. The 87 mile run finished in Chipping Sodbury where a real village atmosphere prevailed at their Rugby Club with a good attendance in spite of it being an important day for English Football!Brunel was represented with Derek Roberts, Derek Lee, Eric Batty, Steve Short and past member Dennis Lane.Mike and Victoria Nangreave also put in an appearance at the finish. The photo shows the two Derek's cars parked at the finish.You will note that Derek Robert's TR5 came in disguise; could this possibly be "A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing"?
