Newsletter (Round Robin) December 2021
Hello there, just back from a quick blast in the TR to keep the wheels moving, brilliant drive as cold but sunny.
If you have not booked your place for the Xmas lunch at 12.15 on 19th Dec at The Manger be quick and give me a ring or e-mail and we will sqeeze you in.
You will need the following information in order to plan your staycations next year and this is a list of the larger shows that we normally attend and which we may have to book in January/February 2022.
1)Euston 12th June , a really good family day out, normally with lots going on in the ring.
2)10th July Culford (this took over from the Elveden show) set in the impressive grounds of the school, notable old boy was Clive Manvers!
3)7th August Helmingham, this must be the highlight of the Classic movement in this area with an exceptional show of cars in the parkland of the Hall, an entertaining commentary, open gardens and a great selection of food-try the elderflower ice cream.
4)Henham steam rally 17/18 th of September, a two day event which we normally attend on the Sunday, but who knows I may just take a tent and go for both days as there is plenty to see with the steam enthusiasts. The last time that I went one exhibitor had a steam engine towing an original, fully restored 1st World war artillery piece-now that is unique.
There will also be a large number of local shows and organised runs out so watch this space.

Now off to pack warm clothing in the car as, weather permitting, I am off to Marshall at a car trial tomorrow. Have fun and a good, happy and healthy Christmas with the prospect of a better 2022.
