Steam; keep a note in your diary for Sunday 7th of October for a run out to the Forncett Steam Museum as this is a steam up day with a model engineers exhibition. Route, start time and venue will be in a separate e-mail but expect it to start near Stowmarket mid morning, approx. 30 mile route. The Museum has no access to wi fi or modern technology (that's why its a steam museum) so cash will be required for tea cakes etc.
And finally, if you have not purchased your Abbott and Stour T shirt, sweat shirt or cap get in contact with Vince at vincebaker@gmail.com Those of a nervous disposition had to endure the sight of certain "manly" physiques at Cars by the Lake yesterday as we made sure that our orders were the right size (apologies to ladies small children and dogs).
And finally, finally-we had a great day at Fornham yesterday raising money for the local hospice with a stand of seven cars. We would really like next year to attend one of the larger shows such as Cars by the Lake, Helmingham Hall or Euston and have a stand with every mark of TR from a 2 to an 8,the more the merrier.
