Bought my TR4 in October 1989, body off restoration which took just over 2 years, first owner in 1961 was the then Director of Standard Triumph Donald Stokes, later to become Lord Stokes the British Leyland supremo. Very early TR4 ( 286th built ) it has the shorter bonnet bulge and aluminium surrey top, this was added sometime later as originally was a soft top.
I also have a 1966 Austin A35 van which I've had for 20 years and my daily runner is a 2004 Nissan 350Z which I've had for 3 years which is definitely a keeper as well.

Hi Marco, sorry to hear your excellent job is basically not allowed by German regularions.
Can you not get a waiver (Erlaubniss) for age related?
I have a muscle disease (yes, that sucks), but allows modifications to steering etc.
Maybe TUV have something similar for older people in Germany?
      Viel Glueck mit dem Projekt!

My paper has a small column saying that on Iceland, Katla  is NOT about to blow, but is emtting tens of thopusands of tons of CO2 daily.  1% of the UKs dialy emission.
      See https://agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1029/2018GL079096   (I think - the Guardaian  didn't give a proper reference)
Is this reassuring, about a mega eruption, or not?

Hi Dave, I see from an older post that you fitted a top tinted windshield to a TR6. I just wanted to know if this was the one supplied by Moss and if you had any problems with its fitment.
