For those of us lucky souls who were "There Man" through the 60's it seems the perch we are on is getting ever more slippery, who's next, as my Mum would say?!! ...

along with pictures of Sports cars, Bikes, The Shrimp, Jane Asher was a lovely picture of Marianne adorning  my teenage bedroom wall.

As Tears go By

RIP Marianne

Not a TR I’m afraid

Ah...

I was wondering why the cockpit edge trim looked a bit odd.

I was going by the screen frame.

But even that is different, come to think of it.

Ah!   Ms.Faithful!   Britain's Francoise Hardy.   A  bientot!

RIP Marianne and come to that RIP Françoise also, she died last year. Another lithesome young lady with a haunting breathy singing style in All over the world and an appearance in the film Grand Prix, where she was girlfriend to one of the young drivers who was killed.

Strangely, the passing of contemporaries does not make me feel old. But when a newly-built building I lived in age 18-20 is demolished , that destruction of a 'permanent' structure made me realise my age.   https://prnt.sc/2sspjRoZe5Pn  I recall exactly where I was in the dining room when we heard the news of JFK's assassination. Now its been flattened to make a sports field. Peter age 79 and 11 months.
