Rhodri
Planning a rebuild of my TR4 engine in the New Year, and see that County pistons and liners are relatively cheap. Has anyone any feedback on them please ?
MadMarx
I used them on my racing engine last year ... didn't fail. Make shure that they have the same weight.
Rhodri
Thank you Chris, if they are good enough for racing, then they are good enough for a road going car !
scotty
I used County rings , bearings etc when I rebuilt my Tr6 engine 18 month ago , seemed good enough quality to me , no problems . My mate who is an engineer ( proper one ) uses thier stuff on a variety of engines.
Rhodri
Thank you- TR Shop have County piston and liner sets a lot cheaper than the other specialist's cheaper options. I have the feeling that possibly all the cheap options are, in fact, County. TR Shop say that they have had no complaints with them, so I will give them a go !
stuart
Got them in my TR4a and they are quite happy with the constant 5000 rpm that my non overdrive box demands to get on!!! (mind you the engine was built on a quiet night shift at Reynards by one of my mates who used to work there!) Stuart.
