Gary F
This seems a good buy for someone? https://www.handh.co.uk/auction/lot/lot-65---1968-triumph-tr250/?lot=61071&so=0&st=&sto=0&au=543&ef=&et=&ic=False&sd=1&pp=48&pn=2&g=
had17462
I think the market is soft at the minute but that does look a bargain N
trchris
Yes prices have crashed and probably will keep reducing even more, will they recover ? who knows l think the days of high values has long gone within the classic car market it definitely is a buyers market Chris
stuart
Hmm car has some shall we say "Interesting" features which together with the lack of overdrive makes the price about right, its a bit of a mix and match. Was original Royal Blue with black trim. Stuart.

I had a mate attend hoping to buy a Series 3 Land Rover but he was outbid, he said the Tr250 was very nice. Gary
Kenrow
Is there a reason the bonnet lateral brace is closed off? Never seen that before...

Kenrow
Looks like there is some corrosion in the seam pushing things apart, wonder what it looks like under the caps. Having just painted my bonnet I know how much work it is to get that area cleaned up.

That bonnet has all been apart presumably to clean it up, looks like a new lower ‘u section’ which hasn’t had the holes cut and edged back into it … and just not welded together all that well. I’ve just done a another works replica bonnet with an alloy skin and a steel frame starting from what was quite a nice standard bonnet and even pulling the frame from a steel one apart to blast is a good deal of work. Lots of hours in that bonnet, but just not quite the big cigar.
