Jo is indeed off work at the moment due to illness. I don't think anyone else is working at the office

Hello Yardman, a name would be nice? we are a friendly crowd on here!

There is a membership card thread over in our 'Alecs Inn' Section, that explains the club

no longer issues then due to cost, but that you can download and print your own, via the members section

on the home page , on the website.

You say you joined two months ago, well thank you for that, I take it you do have a membership number?

John.

Hi, I only asked if you had a membership number because this allows you

to download your own membership card. As a member you are entitled to visit 'Alecs Inn'our own

members only area, and all the info you need to get your own card is there in a thread titled-

'membership Cards.'

John, I've looked everywhere for my membership card and failed, I looked in every drop down in the members area, I've done a word search and it is probably staring me in the face but I certainly can't find it.  I don't want a card I was just curious to see if I could find it!

Derek/James,

Go to Main Site Banner,

Click on Renew/Update Details.

Click Update Contact and memebership details

Click on Get Started

Enter Password, (Mine was already in)

Click on membership Card Info

Download PDF File, to enable you to print.

Believe me, if I can figure this out then anyone can!

John, thanks for that. Followed your instructions and downloaded membership card to wallet….nothing in wallet !

Further investigation on phone found it had been put in the “expired” section of wallet, had to click on “unhide” and membership card then appeared in the wallet !

Not sure if it’s me , but might help others!

Thanks John,  I guess not being an IT genius is why I couldn't find it but hey ho I now have one should I ever need it which I guess is unlikely as discounts for members aren't available for the likes of the TR Weekend anymore. Oops maybe I shouldn't have mentioned TR Weekends sorry about that!

Hi John

followed your instructions down to Entre Password - all ok so far

Your next step is: 'Click on membership Card Info'  however there's no button I can see anywhere for this.

Perhaps there are more stages for some types of members as whatever stage I am it didn't work.

I have the same issue and unable to find any card to download.

Not worried as membership shows as current.

Excuse me for being cynical here but is anyone doing anything in the office itself now that Jo is ill. If not then this is not a good state of affairs for the club. How many prospective new members is the club missing out on? If I tried to gain any information "the old fashioned way" and no one picked the phone up I would give up and join another club!  Is Jo actually coming back I wonder? Is the blind leading the blind? Will we ever get to find out anyway?

Don't miss the next exciting episode of..................... The Perils of Pauline!   Bet nobody remembers Pearl White anyway?

All under control Alan, The phone answer machine has been altered to ask callers to send an e mail. All e mails are being picked up by Chis Thirtle and shared to the most appropriate MT member to respond to. The post is being collected periodically, not that we get much.

Jo will be returning as soon as she is Fully fit. but not before.
