Richardtr3a
About two months ago I lost my TR keys. Last week I was clearing up a pile of leaves in the garden about 24 inches high. Amazingly the keys were in with the leaves. There is a blue key fob and a RAC key , in case of a breakdown before mobile phones. These keys have been with me for many years and I feel that they have a margin of luck attached. The car is starting well and in my imagination the keys help. But the regulator and carb overhaul and new petrol pump are the main suspects. But the lucky keys help Richard & B

jerrytr5
I was out cycling a few months ago and spotted a set of Mercedes keys in the road. Thought I might be able to re-unite them with the owner by taking them to a Mercedes dealer, but they are not permitted to get the code and find the owner. So they went in the bin. As a result, I had some tags engraved with my phone number and attached to each set of my keys - just in case. Jerry

I expect that is more to do with main stealers selling a new set of keys/locks for extortionate amounts of cash rather then any privacy/security issues!
