Paul Hogan
This news came as a great surprise not only to myself but several others who rang me to tell me the sad news of Dave's passing. Dave became something of a legend after his escapades on one of the lakes tours when he rolled a new land rover he had borrowed for the weekend while his navigation abilities came under close scrutiny when instead of driving west out of Berlin he drove east and didn't realise his mistake until he came to Poland! With his famous number plate ATR6 OK, his car always attracted a lot of attention. Even though he moved to Spain he would often be seen a TR meetings and at the NEC shows. A thoroughly decent chap, our thoughts are now with Maria and his family. RiP Dave.

modelbuilder
I too am saddened to hear this news. I bought COV from Dave a way back. He brought it over from Spain on the ferry and met me at the docks in Plymouth. I will never forget that day as it rained like it had never rained before. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. Rodders. Edited October 29 by modelbuilder
