I am having a bespoke tonneau cover made for my TR6 and wondering if anyone can give me the measurements and or a template for my trimmer?

If it’s going to be bespoke it would be bespoke to your car only and not any other car. In particular the fixings can be in different places on different cars. I suggest you should be very careful here.

Why not buy an original, make sure it fits / alter it to fit and then provide that to the trimmer. I'm sure the cost of an original will pale into insignificance compared with something made bespoke.

Why not just advertise in the Wanted section? That’s how I got mine, whole lotta less faffing.

If it's bespoke then it is individual to the car which presumably means that you can't use a standard item.

I had one made for the 2 that would fit around the roll over bar - it involved taking the car to, and leaving it with. the trimmer to make and fit the tonneau.

There are a good many upholstery shops up and down the UK.  Not all are specialists within the car world but are good at what they do.

So ideally find a car upholsterer. But with a bit of effort find the dims/template and stick with what you have.

As mentioned above the cars are not the same. The various attachments can be quite a few millimeters out. So you really either need the car with the upholsterer or

complete the hole cutting on the car at home

If your going to the expense of a bespoke cover the only way of ensuring a good fit is to leave the car with the trimmer or make a template yourself to fit your car.

It is surprising how much difference there is between individual cars, the first one I bought was 50mm to short at the windscreen fixings but fitted the car of the person I sold it to.

Welcome to the forum.

If your trimmer needs a template, I'd respectfully suggest you need a new trim shop.

Jerry

Exactly so, an experienced trimmer would know how to make a tonneau
