It could be that the Drivers side always has an occupant, not so on the pax side. This constant(ish) load may have had an effect on the spring.

Very common on the early cars with leaf springs.

Roger

Thank you, car been totally rebuilt recently, new springs and shocks (no leaf springs)

Hi

There are a few items in the rear suspension that can be changed/uprated etc

Upper & lower collars,

An Ali spacer

The springs -  are these identical either side  for length and compression rate.

Tyre pressure / shape etc

All these can be varied.

For the tyre take a measurement from ground to top of wheel rim

What is the gap like between top of tyre and wheel arch - should be about  1.5 to 2 finger width.

total renovation,, body off engine out etc.. all three corners are same height apart from the kerb side rear and 1/2 higher

I would be inclined to also put it up on stands and get the chassis dead level front to back and side to side and then check the body for level front to back and side to side and see if the discrepancy is there.
