A pal of mine has just fitted them to a Daimler V8. Not cheap, but do look the business, with period buckles etc.

harrytr5
These seatbelts are not E marked and are therefore not legal for road use in the UK or Europe. Hope you noticed that tr7v8 ? Stuarts advice is very sound. Quick fit know their business that for sure. Regards Harry

If these are not road legal, and (one would assume) any Race/Track car would have a multipoint harness, what are these belts actually for?
RobH
I expect they are not road legal on a car made after E-marking was introduced. They probably conform to the earlier British standard BS3254 which was in force for vehicles up to 1973, as for the chrome Quickfitbs ones. Legislation is not usually retrospective. John Broadley
I have a set of Britax 3 point belts that I removed from my 1963 TR4. Not sure if they are OE, but they look like they may well be. Good usable condition, but obviously not brand new. You can have them if you want, as they're just cluttering up the garage. You would have to ask the retailer that question. My head says that as these are part numbered in a Moss USA way (three digits a dash then three digits) I’d suppose the belts to satisfy whatever the US market wants and are not Moss Europe sourced. As they are not branded they could be of any world location origin. Probably somewhere cheap. Edited October 11, 2024 by BlueTR3A-5EKT

Regards Harry as they are for a TR4 makes little odds in my mind as it never had belts anyway
