In Lidl today, I came across a crawler/seat at £29.99, bought and have assembled it.  Although supplied thith allen key and a pair of thin 14mm spanners, somewhat easier with 14mm socket and 14mm open-ended spanner.

It has padding on the top parts.  The 6 castors are a decent size.   Load capacity is 120kg for stool. 150kg for crawler.

There's a spring -loaded pin to lock it into position,

I fear the grandchildren will find it too attractive!

As always with Lidl, make sure that some light-fingered thief hasn't nicked some of the parts (bolts, nuts, spanners, allen key) in the sealed plastic bag.

Hi Ian

I use to use mine to drop the MX5 subframe with the engine/gearbox attached on to it and pull the lot out from underneath. So I can vouch for it being plenty strong!

I have one of the Parkside ones, and find the stool part really useful for sitting doing the brakes, I don't have a lift to get the car up in the air,  without bending over too much!,  as you say also the Grandchildren like it too!
