Mike59
Hopefully someone might buy this beautiful looking car at a sensible price and actual use it for the main purpose of owners a classic car, driving it. They get the full appreciation of owning a TR5 using it and can let everybody else enjoy seeing it being use. If the new owner likes polishing a car he will get more practice getting it dirty occasionally. I'm currently driving my TR5 which has been in my ownership for some 36 years and is used on a regular basis, I reckon it still going to outlast me as it's still going strong. Best of luck to the prospective new owner. Mike
cp25616
Oh dear, as Graham states you should not believe anything that's written in books as people's opinions can be swayed into thinking that what they have just read is gospel. White was indeed offered with shadow blue trim, maybe not in the colour charts but certainly was available, hell even one of the press cars LHP293F comm. no. CP6 was a white hard top car with shadow blue trim ! Tim you are incorrect with the black fascia screws being black. As Peter states they were a chrome finish and matched the glovebox lock on all TR5's. The 1969 TR6 also had the shiny screws and lock whereas the TR6 1970 model onwards had the matching black screws and lock. Ho hum! Alan G
