Securon Inertia belts 500/30 or 514/30?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I’m just about to purchase a set and was advised a lot of people use the model number 500/30 rather than 514/30, which are listed on the Securon site as being the correct version.

Anybody have any views or experience fitting them?

Thanks

  • Neilson changed the title to Securon Inertia belts 500/30 or 514/30?

I personally love the seatbelts made by Quickfit Safety Belts. 0208 206  0101     info@quickfitsbs.com

Quality, night and day to others on the market. Much dearer but quality is.

Do a search on here to reveal past info.

Come and have a look in the modified class. Jasmine TR5

Did you have a look at my seat belts,  Neilson and feel the quality?

Capping still here if you want it.

Regards Harry

Morning Harry, unfortunately I wasn’t able to get to Malvern, but I did give the guys a call at Quickfit. I’m still weighing up my options as they were quite expensive, but I’ll give it some thought!

Regarding capping, I’ve been talking to John at John Skinner’s and they do a Surrey top that’s longer at the front to allow you to use the TR5/6 locking mechanism. I’ll be able to keep my existing capping, but thanks for the offer.

Have a great weekend

Neil

Neil, (seat belts)there is a reason why they are more  expensive and top quality first, comes to mind. Night and day from the usual fare!

Your choice of course

Hi Harry, of course I would never install seat belts that compromised mine or my family’s safety. I was just comparing them to other notable brands on the market.

I will endeavour to fit the best I can, and once again thank you for all the advice ;)

Best Neil
