harrytr5
As this is going to be a regular feature I believe, Dan Smith and I will be running this class this year(2024) again along with Graham Andrews. Hence the appeal for heavy modified TR,S. (TR7V8,s are too common) but other transplants (TR7) such as Mazda etctra will be welcomed. Supercharged TR,s would be great as we have not seen many of those at all. Register with Graham Andrews and we will then be on hand to direct you to your Spot. Regards Harry and Dan. harrytr5
Shame as not many showed up! Lots of interest shown on what we had there. Not going to happen next year as the show concept has changed. I do not know anymore than that so no idea. Well done Pinky on the Gong. Regards Harry

harrytr5
My post lifted from another post but thought it might be of interest on here. Amongst the reasons of joining the TR Register is the annual IWE of which I have attended every year apart from one year when in poor health. Some of the venues were turkeys but Malvern is very high on the radar  for me. The mix this year worked very well and it was like going back to the early days with the amount of cars and people. I gave up camping years ago but there is still a good number of campers that still camp from North London 20+ I believe. Dan, Howard,Richard and I have helped run the concours judging and the modified TR,s the past three years under Graham Andrews leadership and really enjoyed it. The wives have stopped coming now as not their thing but understand it is our thing. I sincerely hope the IWE will carry on as it is a highlight in my calendar. So we give a little back and enhances the weekend for us. Thanks TR Register and volunteers. Regards Harry
Dic Doretti
I never found the modified TR stand despite asking Jo and Phil Horsley who told me "it must be here somewhere"! So the V8 engined Doretti remained on the Swallow Doretti stand. Cheers Richard

Stagpowered
My drivers door catch broke during the Autotest resulting in a snapped check strap and a creased door skin. Ended up ratchet strapping the door handle to the roll cage to drive home. My car was so covered in dust after the autotest I think I would have been kicked out of the concours hall if I had attempted to sneak it in later, though I did enjoy looking around the cars on display. Not going to happen next year as no idea what the club is doing. 2026 back in Malvern so it will be on again unless cocked up by the club. Regards Harry
Rocketman
Â IÂ intended to enter my '57 TR3A but unfortunately couldn't make it this year. Hopefully I will make it for next years event where ever it may be. It has too many non standard bits on it to enter the standard class
