Reverse Lower Control Arms on TR4A-6?

As a matter of interest.....Has anyone fitted the LCA's upside down?
Only possible benefit that I can see is lowering the car slightly and/or being able to fit a slightly longer spring for better ride.

Thanks Hamish...an interesting read.

Clearance between the spring pan and the chassis rail should not be a problem.

Has anyone on here done the flip?
