Bulkhead heater pipe adaptors 611043 & 601950

Any one else grieved that the tubes have only hose stop swaging on one side, the other tail being plain tube rather than flared.

One supplier who knew of the issue, suggested I bought a tube of their special glue to make the hoses remain in place.  Pillock!

My original had a rolled sewage one side and a flare the other.  This is simple practise to ensure the hose will not easily slip off when the water system pressurises.

I have now replicated the flare using my hand held pipe flaring clamp and a bell punch, that I use for push rod tubes.

Now I feel more confident that the hoses will remain attached and not slip off and spurt boiling water everywhere.
Previously we silver soldered a plumbing olive to the plain stainless tube.
