Richardtr3a
I am assembling my rear axle which is now shiny black. I took the half shaft out this afternoon to remove the backplate. But I noticed that there was some minor damage at the spot where the seal is in constant contact. This happen before on the LHS and I fitted a Speedi sleeve and it never failed again. Does any one know the correct part number for the SKF special seal. I also do not remember how to slide it so far down the half shaft when the fitting kit only allows about two inches. I may need a long tube unless there is some other answer. I am planning to buy from Simply Bearings but I need the correct part number. Thanks for a part number. Richard and B.
