iain
I am sad to report that Willy Cave has died. A true legend of the Navigators art in the Rally world. Willy started Rallying in the 50's and was still competing until fairly recently. Willy navigated for Standard Triumph in various cars, Vanguard Mk1, Standard 10, Pennant TR2 TR3 TR4 Triumph 2000, working with K Richardson and later Graham Robson. R.I.P Willy. PS "Putting Willy on the Map" is a great read for those who are interested in his career. Edited March 15, 2022 by iain

Tony_C
Agree RIP…. He was a wonderful character and great value if and when you were lucky enough to spend, what was always quality, time with him… Willy gave me (doubtless without ever knowing it) one of my genuine ‘priceless’ moments in my life….. The world is a poorer place with him gone
TwinCamJohn
the last time I saw Willy was in 2013 when our paths crossed competing in the Rallye Costa Brava. Here is a picture from that event relaxing with a drink and Willy dispensing some advice to a young lady !
