ckeithjordan
I saw this earlier via Hemmings.com, and I thought those of you in the UK would be interested in RM/Sotheby's offering of VRW221 for sale at GBP 140K... https://rmsothebys.com/en/home/private-sales/r5250-1958-triumph-tr3a-works-rally-car/1197421 Apologies if this is old news. DavidBee
Didn't it belong to Jon Laver (I think that's the surname) in the 1970s and 1980s?

Only just saw this now. Jon replaced a pranged chassis on OGB 800 which had already had the front end replaced and welded by the vendor Stuart Jenkins when I bought it, with a rust-free (I know, I did the wire brushing beforehand) from California I sourced from young Glen Hewitt. Under all the grease, it was faultless and straight. Pity, should have let Glen do the job. Enough said! I wonder whether he is still involved. Ciao, David
