JochemsTR
Just for my understanding, this is a direct replacement for the hardy disc?
BlueTR3A-5EKT
For the upper this Ford Escort one was our favourite seller as it includes the metal couplings with the rubber bit and a fail safe strap. Commercially - The original Triumph rubber bit sold for £7.50 The original metal clamps were £15.00 each. This Ford assy was £9.00 . https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-ESCORT-MK-1-stearing-rack-coupling-joint-genuine-ford-nos-new-/194368464250?nma=true&si=e4ZrCJQpb1p40FJUE4KcT3R8Nl4%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 Edited November 8, 2021 by BlueTR3A-5EKT
Z320
The upper hardy disk / rubber unit makes it moderare „easy“ to dismantle and assemble the steering column. And it is my hope it will brake in the case of a car accident and keep some harm away from me. Is this an illusion? Or was it a matter of the price?

That was the idea, original fitment was doughnut top and bottom. Stuart.
