TR6 Steering Column U/J?

Recommended Posts

For the upper this Ford Escort one was our favourite seller as it includes the metal couplings with the rubber bit and a fail safe strap.

Commercially - The original Triumph rubber bit sold for £7.50  The original metal clamps were £15.00 each.  This Ford assy was £9.00 .

The upper hardy disk / rubber unit makes it moderare „easy“ to dismantle and assemble the steering column.

And it is my hope it will brake in the case of a car accident and keep some harm away from me.

Is this an illusion? Or was it a matter of the price?

That was the idea, original fitment was doughnut top and bottom.
