Nigel A
My Tr250 is fitted with a saloon J type overdrive gearbox and is going to be rebuilt later this month by Pete Cox. Obviously I’m going to change the clutch and understand the Sachs cover 3082100041 is the best to use. I’m not sure of the best friction plate and release bearing to use so looking for advice. I intend to use the same carrier with slipper pads if still in good condition. One final question - should I change the bearing that the input shaft slots into? Hamish
Ask Pete to supply what you need. he converted my flywheel on my 3a to accept the later diaphragm clutch. he’ll sort you out so it’s all matching and usable.
Nigel A
Thanks Hamish, I’ll have a chat about the clutch when I drop the gearbox off. Wasn’t sure if they could supply clutches. Nigel
