HarryH
Can anybody recommend a supplier for at set of TR7 rubber carb mount, as I believe the web is full of poor quality spares. Rgds Harry H
HowardB
Dolomite club can supply a metal mount which would be my port of call if your originals have failed.
BlueTR3A-5EKT
The Dolomite Club items seem to be available to members only, and are solid aluminium. https://forum.triumphdolomite.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=35454&sid=10d21096778ffc06c9e2caf5134acb40
DaveR
I bought mine from the Dolomite Club about 12 years ago and there hasn't been any problems. S and S Conversions did have the aluminium type in stock last year. Dave
Leslie rog
Hi i got mine from the wedge shop , as they use an isolater so less heat soak, well worth the money.
Andy Moltu
There is a reason they are rubber. The idea is to an extent isolate the carbs from the engine vibration which can cause the float chambers to vibrate to the extent that they flood. The exact rev range depends on the specific engine set up but tends to be North of 5000 rpm and settles beyond this so may not be noticed when wizzing up in lower gears. Predominantly affects 4 pot engines. Webers use O rings, presumably for the same reason.

If You browse starting from that page " Das Fahrzeug", "Werkstatt" and than "Vergaserhalterungen" , You will find the hole page about the mounts. They sell to everybody. Hope it helps Cheers Sugar

Rgds Harry H I guess a fraction late, but having replaced the original with the ones on the right, these fell apart within a few hundred miles, requiring superglue assistance as temporary fix A more permanent solution needed a Devon group member made those on left in case anyone is interested Rubber and paper gasket extra, Edited February 5, 2022 by Misfit
