ken foster
Hi, is it possible to use a tr6 for towing? All i want to do is pull my volvo 940 up my inclined driveway, about 5 metres. What I need to know is where to attach a tow rope. I need to avoid damaging the rear valance on the TR. Thanks ken.
ken foster
Has no one ever used a tr6 or 4 or 5 to tow a car? I just want to know where to attach the rope. I only need to pull my volvo onto the level area of the driveway, about 20 feet. cheers ken
Andy Moltu
Rope around any suitable point on the chassis. Failing that whip off the bumper and use its mounting.
michaelfinnis
I once worked with a guy who lent his Triumph 2000 to his son to tow a mate who had broken down. Son tied the rope around the rear axle (driveshaft) and promptly winched the car into the back of the Triumph as he drove off. Don't do that! Mike.
