Hi all,

My Doretti came with one of the original factory hardtops, of which I believe I've read there were only 5. I've seen images of one (green) on Google - just curious how many are surviving, and if any owners are members here? I'd love to see what the inside of it originally looked like, and the latch fittings.

In the long run, I'd like to do a nice (thin) interior headliner and a subtle wiring connection to include an auxiliary brake/reverse bar and maybe even a courtesy light - were the originals just painted metal? Also does anyone know if it was an entirely custom rear glass piece or whether it was shared with some other car?

Cheers,

Jack

Had me going there for a minute.

I’d never seen one in the flesh let alone fitted until doing a web search and finding this.

Owned by Chris Olson, TR Register Australia member. I'm going to his farm tomorrow for a weekend working bee.

The car next to it is also an Australia Register owner. It has a 6 cylinder PI engine in it, but the original block is with the car.
