I'm told it is all relatively busy these days. It's 40years since I last went up that way and I remember it being pretty quiet particularly the further north you went.  Upwards from Ullapool I was almost alone on the road.

Rob it’s still fairly quiet but has got busier over the 22 years we have been visiting Scotland. The publicising of the Scottish 500 route has made that very busy and camper vans are very much in evidence but it’s not comparable to the traffic at home.

Maybe I'll try and do it one last time before I get too decrepit  - might not make the top of Stac Pollaidh again though and I'm not too sure about camping either !   I think the moths might have got at my tent :o

Thanks Sue!

And my, there are some very attractive places taken in an attractive way.

One has a sort of circular wall along the top if a hill. With sort of arches.

What sort is it? And I like the night shots, not easy to get those right but you have.

I have only ever been as far as Ayr, Glasgow, and Edinburgh once. Makes me realize what a stick-in-the mud I am! Living in UK for over 20 years!

Those landscapes are stunning, I must say.

Ciao (copying Marco from now on)

 Thanks Hamish  :)

My pictures are for anyone who wants to see them, it was David B who asked me to post pictures of our trip.

Its not normally my way of doing things, I don’t like to push our car and activities too much onto other people.

We have been touring Scotland with The TR Register Scottish Isles Tour Group since 1999 ( which had been going for about ten years before that). We have also toured Scotland on our own many times as we like it so much up here having been introduced to such wonderful wild places.

It was even better when we used to camp up here as you see much wilder places and wildlife, even camping on a beach on Islay, wild camping on Barra and the camaraderie was beyond belief.

I was hoping I'd see your TR4A too... so nice. You are definitely not pushing anything, Sue. It is great to see these cars in action, on the road, and travelling far. Very encouraging, no, I mean inspiring to see.

Please continue to post your great shots, balanced, carefully composed, well lit, well exposed. I-phone or big camera makes no difference. These are still (as in regardless of status) photographs and still (as in not moving image) photographs.

On one of our trips we went on a boat TRip from Mull to Staffa and Fingals Cave, that was a bucket list moment for me.
