Who are the go to specialist……….

Recommended Posts

Given my car and what’s needed?

Enginuity or TRGB?

Both great companies having been around for many years but my car needs:

The engine with its Jenvey ITB’s setting up (not sure which has the most experience with this set up)

Lamora drive shafts fitting

Rear cage bolting in

Brakes and suspenders sorted

Might be tricky to answer. Not sure but I am desperate to get it finally on the road

Lee personally for me it would be Enginuity they set up the suspension on my 6 and I’m really pleased with the way it handles now.

+1

I fitted Lamora CV drive shafts and it was a tool making experience which I had having severed a 4 year apprenticeship. But I am not certain that still applies as I have been told that the fitting of the hubs to the splines does not require a file fitting job anymore but I did complain.

Bruce.

Am I right in saying you have an Emerald ECU Lee? assuming you gave them the engine spec' the ECU should have been shipped with a map that will run your car. It will go into an adaptive mode under certain conditions and this will refine the map, you really want to get it onto a rolling road to set it up properly. Obviously you will need to have wired up whichever sensors you require, at a minimum you'll need a crank trigger sensor and TPS or MAP. Good luck with it, I found it a great improvement.

It’s not emerald, I had that on my Z and Etype but this is something else. Can’t recall. I had it running briefly, has crank sensor obviously and set to go with a basic map but will need setting up on a RR initially and then get some mikes on it.
