Having suffered a puncture (and a coil failure) during a rallye this weekend I thought it would be a good moment to change the tyres.

I'll change the tubes as well as I don't know how old they are.

So, the question. I see that the Michelin 15E (valve oblique) are available at around 24€. Not sure how that compares with what you have in the UK. What other makes have you tried?

I only ever use Michelin inner tubes.

Michelin undoubtedly do really good tubes - another supplier with a good reputation in classic racing circles is Blockley Tyres - the fact that racing teams use them must say something!

I don’t have any connection with them by the way.
