BlueTR3A-5EKT
Suggestions please for an accurate one that will not break the bank. Currently have a cheap dial type on an inflator and a ‘pencil’ type that reads lbs only. The dial gauge on the inflator seems to over read so I always check inflation pressure after using the inflator. Does any one have experience or recommendations? RobH
The gauges on pumps are usually pretty poor. I use one of these:
FatJon
I bought 3 (one for the boot of each car) all from a well known high street car spares and pushbike vendor. They span 6PSI on the same tyre so I can't tell you which are good ones but I can tell you which to avoid. I'm with RobH, spend an extra tenner on separate gauge. timhum
Here's a link to Demon Tweeks, loads of choice. I've used a Pit King gauge for years. https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/search/shop-by/q/tyre pressure gauge/ Tim
Ian Vincent
I have a previously new and unused electric pump that was supplied with an Audi and which I picked on eBay for £15. The pump works fine, the gauge is approximate at best when checked against my old pen style one. Rgds Ian
