mafield
Do you know if there is ANY availability, or chance of getting an original washer rocker switch (148418) - without being robbed!! I note that Moss & Co, and others quote a switch p.n. 158452 - is this a direct replacement, does it fit... I note the bezel is also not black, so would have to be painted before fitting, or will it mount into the original? Thanks. Michael F. cp25616
Michael if you are after a cheap washer switch without getting robbed i think you are out of luck. They are around but they command strong money, it all depends on how bad you want one and keep originality. The Moss item will need the wood dash hole widened and also the metal dash widened to accept this which frankly defeats the purpose and doesn't look right either. Keep looking, pay up and please don't hack your dash, its such a waste. Alan G

Kenrow
I thought only the metal part of the dash had to be modified. This silver finish can easily be rubbed off with chrome polish.
cp25616
I think you might be correct here, think I am wrong with the wooden dash bit, sorry.
Eddie Trickett
The wooden dash needs modifying to take the wider lucas switch. My new dash came with 2 wider switch openings to suit available switches. Eddie
