mafield Posted July 11, 2021 Report Share Posted July 11, 2021 (edited) Today, after queuing for an hour+, I gave up trying to get into Gaydon, and went for a nice drive all around the Cotswolds instead. Why was there such an issue in getting in - "be there by 9:30am to display with the Register", I was in the queue at 9:15am and left it around 10:30am - not having reached the entrance. RogerH Posted July 11, 2021 Report Share Posted July 11, 2021 Indeed the entry was appalling. I left the M40 at 9.20 and got to the first marshal on the gate at 10.15. The two lanes on the road from the M40 into Gaydon turned into one lane after the marshal. People were actually stopping to admire the view once around the last round about. People arriving at apprx 9.10 went in smoothly. It would appear that everybody and their uncle turned up at the same time. Roger Quote Link to post Share on other sites
