Moliver
…it took me quite a while to identify the purpose of the small mouth front bracket.
DavidBee
Genius. Only snag is that then you don't get the dash and long headlamps in the shot.

Moliver
Hi David, Yes indeed. Although a good prospective on the road scene, the car will not be present in the recording at all .Appreciated presentation of any alternative solution. cheers Oliver
DavidBee
I suggest you take a look at Hamish's filming during hill climbing competition. The GoPro is fitted to a clamp. Seems to be attached to the roll over bar. You could angle it to get profile of driver and scenery in shot or forward facing, to frame dashboard and road ahead. I am considering it. The onlly thing that is putting me off is having to relearn the software to edit! If you then wanted good audio, you could record sound using separate device.
