Rally prepared TR3A for sale

Recommended Posts

It will be a keeper

just enjoying it at present

I’m attending my local TRR Glavon runs and tours to build up a little experience and knowledge and within the next couple of years get into some rallies and events.

(fingers crossed)

Never tried any form of motorsport yet, so eager to learn.

long term triumph owner though!

Hi Mike,

well I purchased the car and have been loving getting out and about in it.

managed to find a lot of history on the car from some of her previous owners.

do you have any info that you wouldn’t mind sharing, even just recollections.

pm me if appropriate

cheers

I’m pretty sure the car used to belong to Neil Revington. In 2006 when I bought my TR3a from the States I discovered it had a door from an older car on the RHS. (It had square corners and a wooden top frame). I swapped it with Neil for a pale blue one with a dent in it. At the time he told me I was getting a door from a rally winner.

so I suspect my driver’s door started life on this car.

Yes I remember this car.  Neil threw me up the road in it to the pub for lunch one wet winter’s day.  On Colway  remould tyres as I recall.

Well done Neil, I’ve known this car from the very early 1990’s…….. I used to rally with the other Neil at the time and your car was developed as the testing/ proving of all his innovations/ improvements…… You’ve got a good un

Thanks very much Tony.
I certainly think it’s a "good un" great to find out it’s history.

if you have any recollections of her, I’d love to find out more?

Anyone who has been passenger alongside Noel Revlingbone driving one of his own cars will have had a memorable experience!

Funnily enough, when he has driven my car, he has always driven quite circumspectly - not sure why.
