RobG
That does look nice in blue. By the way, I am just putting my TR4 up for sale, very similar, mine is 1964 UK RHD from new, with Heritage certificate. 2 previous owners, TRG with wire wheels and overdrive. I have rebuilt the complete inner tub, during aĀ full body off restoration, chassis excellent,Ā outer panels are in original paint, so needs a respray,Ā also needs a hood and carpets. Couple of pictures attached, I have loads of pictures of the complete rebuild, PM me if anyone interested before it goes on Car &Ā Classic website. My guide price is best offer over Ā£12,000. RobG Ā In the boot on the side panniers there is the bracket for the PI fuel filter and there is the hole in the top of the left hand pannier for the pump gland overflow and also there is the small bracket on top of the pannier for the extra box shape on the tank board to cover the PI fuel pump that would be originally bolted to the left hand rear wheel arch. RobG
All the repair panels came with the car and they were purchased in 1988 by PO so I just used what came with the car. Oops. Maybe TR4 panels were no longer available.Ā RobG Ā

RobG
Stuart, So as I used the also supplied new front inner wings, they maybe TR5, how do they differ ? See attached photos of front and rear inner wings. Thanks for the info, RobG
tim hunt
The LH front inner wing is definitelyĀ not a TR5 one Rob. These had a small bracket just in front of the wiper motor, absent on your car,Ā which IĀ believe carried a relay. I have one on my 4A. Tim

ianc
As Stuart states, and unless you are a Concours fanatic, far more important to have good steel rather that rust. Ian Cornish
