RobH
Looks like they're just early wheels that have had the hub-cap spigots removed.

charlie74
Were they for the Rostyle hubcaps that came on the early cars?
BlueTR3A-5EKT
Yep. Look like ‘69 model year wheels for “Rostyle” hubcaps, with the studs removed. We earlier car owners use that wheel with shortened studs to attach regular chrome hub caps. Peter W
Jctr6EFI72
Yes it is a 69 car!
Mark69
Yes 69 , I have a set outside going rusty . Previous owner had cut the lugs off and filled smooth and fitted the later style centre black hub caps. I have to admit I didn’t realise they were earlier wheels for some time. Seems like sacrilege now, but I suppose at one time the wheel trim off the five looked a bit “old fashioned” and someone wanted the newer look. But nowadays I’d love to have a car that “should” have those wheels. Cheers Keith
