Phil Read
Are wire wheels and the adaptor kits ( adaptor hubs, nuts and spinners) interchangeable between TR3A, TR4A and TR250? My TR250 has Minilite alloys on which I do not like so I am considering moving the wire wheels over from one of my other cars.
BlueTR3A-5EKT
Yes if they are 60 spoke 15 “ wire wheels on the other TR. The adaptors, spinners and fixing nuts are identical TR3A-
stuart
Yep all the same though if the wheels are 48 spoke I wouldnt fit them. Dont forget to tighten the special nuts to 60ftlbs. Six sided socket is favourite. Stuart.

Drewmotty
A bit of Loctite on the nuts is a good plan and as Stuart has said a six point socket is the way to go. I wouldn’t use 48s even on a TR3 although I do use one as a spare. Edited May 15, 2021 by Drewmotty
