John McCormack Posted May 3, 2021 Report Share Posted May 3, 2021 We just got back from a few days outing with friends going to an oyster festival at Narooma (the NSW south coast produces top oysters) and an open garden on the NSW southern highlands. 495 miles covered in glorious weather, no issues with any of the cars and a great time had by all. My TR2 averaged 30mpg including getting out of Sydney and back, hard driving on outback roads (we went through Kangaroo Valley on the way back which has beautiful scenery but some hard climbs with many hairpins) and freeway driving at 110kph (give or take a few km/h).
