nigelcurry
Hi all Does anyone know how many rivets and the approximate position of them to hold on the sill trims please regards nige
Paulfc
Hi Nigel, Are these what you are referring to? If so, these are original (well, at least 28 years old) and are 27” in length with hole centres 1” in from each end and the third at the centre at 13.5”.
saffrontr
Nige, According to the parts book there are six rivets on each side, two on the front wings, three along the sill under the door and one on the rear wing. I don't have any measurements as mine are pretty tight and I don't really want to pull them off. cheers Derek
Kevo_6
Moss catalogue says 7each side, how correct that is I know not. I can check my car later today.

Moss would have stated what is written in the original Triumph Factory parts books unless there had been an error discovered during the prior years of selling the items to both retail and trade customers. saffrontr
All I can say is that official Triumph TR6 parts book lists twelve clips i.e.6 per side , maybe Moss think there a need for 7 or maybe actually 7 were fitted by the factory. Derek PS just checked my TR6 and it has 6 on each side so maybe mine was a Friday car
