Jergus
Hi, first, my name is Jergus and i drive a TR6 1974 here in Berlin / Germany. I'm currently cleaning my carbs, manifold and so on... Unfortunately one of the screws which are holding the bypass on the carbs body is broken, i had to remove it with the extractor. I searched hard but i couldn't find the specification for the screw to order me some new ones. Unfortunately the german supplier companies do not offer these screws. Can somebody help me please? Best Regards Jergus

John Morrison
Jergus, I looked this evening for this screw on some old carb. bits and peices, I have the valve and the screw, but it is not the one you photographed. I removed three fine threaded bolts and washers, not the screw you show, which looks like a self tapping type. Were all the screws you removed the same? I think it possible these are replacements thatmight have been forced home sometime previously. I have sent you a PM, (Personal message) with my email address, (Click on the envelope in the top righthand corner) please reply and I will send you photographs of what I removed. John. ed_h
I have seen both the tapping screw that Jergus shows, and a machine screw in that location. From a 74 TR6: From a 69 GT6: Edited March 19, 2021 by ed_h
John Morrison
Ah mine is clearly of the second type in your photo. John.
