Phil Read
I am getting to the stage where I am trial fitting the rear wings after fitting a new rear apron. I notice the parts book lists pt 602167 clamp, rear wing fixing. When I dismantled the car it did not have these clamps fit, they had probably rotted away with the rest of the wing. Are they essential and if so where/how do they fit?
stuart
Yes they are, theyre a fiddle to fit which is why theyre often not fitted, they go from the last screw bolt in the side of the boot rain channel and face rearwards to hold the very rear of the wing tight by the rear lamp, the right angle end is towards the boot side. Richardtr3a
I could only fit one on one side. The other side would not work. I am not sure what difference it makes but ST must have had an issue with rear panels, haven't we all. So someone in the design department came up with a novel answer. Good luck with yours Richard & B
