On the assumption that the MGCC, and potentially other Clubs, will be contributing to the costs of putting on the event

Hi Graham, the event partners are the TR Register, TSSC and MGCC. The three of us share the revenues and costs, we are all in it together so let's make it the best weekend event possible. Other clubs are invited but are not part of the organisation team.

Just out of interest,  what is the difference between the MGCC and the MGOC, apart from the name obviously.

And what size of membership compared to the TR Register.

Cheers, Conrad.

Hi Conrad,

The MGCC are the 'original' MG Car Club, based out of Kimber House in Abingdon next to the site of the old factory at Cemetery Rd. They were once a part of the MG factory and to this day have a close strategic partnership with MG Motor. In 2020 they remarkably turned 90 years old and have 55,000 worldwide members with around 12,500 in the UK. So, around twice the membership size. The are a not for profit ltd. like TR Register.

The MGOC are a successful parts business with a club as an extension of their activities based out of Swavesey nr Cambridge.
