Bought this unit 7 years ago and have no paperwork or instructions.

Q1, Orange Fan #1

          Blue Fan # 2

          Green A/C Clutch

Fan itself has an earth wire and a  blue for the power input so; what connects to what?

Q2, The sensor, must it be inserted into the coolant under a hose connection or is it inserted between the radiator

fins externally. I have heard both are options?

Appreciate any advice on this matter

John

Looks like a twin fan set up for a vehicle with aircon.

there are some videos in YouTube describing this.
I would imaging still good for non air con car. Just omitting that wire.

Thank you Ian,

Now, how do I get his details so I can send him a message.

Sorry but I'm not knowledgable on the use of such.

John

If you search for pfenlon under members his name will come up and you can send him a message by tapping the little envelope symbol.

It is only the blue and orange connections I am concerned about as the others are logical.

The supply cable to the fan is blue so it seems to make sense that the controller output blue connects to the fan input blue.

The orange output connection is a puzzle as it has a line fuse incorporated ???

If it's any help I found this which looks to be the thing ?  :

The blue wire is fan fast, orange is fan slow - both going to the same two-speed fan.

The sensor is the radiator fitting type rather than hose fitting.

I have one fitted to my 7 many years ago and would suggest one minor modification to the Kenlowe wiring diagram. I swapped the fan feed from a non-switched supply which allows the fan to run on after you stop if the car if the engine is hot.

Cheers

I changed my fan to work after switch off as Howard did, think it’s worthwhile.
