Andy Moltu
Just about to change the o/s wiper whee lbox for the second time as the first pile of poo wasn't being turned by the cog! Grrrr. Decided that this will be an opportunity to change the pipework for the washers. Trying to work out how/where the tubing enters the plenum. Seems to disappear behind the heater. Any clues as I want to get it finished but aiming to minimise the grovelling as I've tweaked my back. Andy
RogerH
Hi Andy, look between the glove box and the heater box. When you get the new wheel box insert the rack into it and make sure it is a good fit. It needs to move but with minimal play. It is possible to close up the gap. DaveB66
Andy In my TR6 the washer pipe follows the route Roger describes, however on my TR4 the washer pipe follows the wiper rack into the plenum. This may well be a previous owners solution to the problem you face . Dave Edited January 26, 2021 by DaveB66
stuart
Pipe enters the plenum next to the heater box on the right hand side between the heater and the vent rod. Stuart.
