RogerH Posted January 24, 2021 Report Share Posted January 24, 2021 For Christmas 2019 Sue bought me a very unusual present. A Ptarmigan. As you know they have snow white plumage in the winter time and it turns quite dark in the Summer time. I had this great idea. It has spent that last year in my freezer. The plumage is doing well. So far the Ptarmigan has had the company of two Turkeys and various chickens. Although they were not very interactive. With this recent fall of snow I think I may let it go free. What do you think ! There will be a need for a great many counsellors, psychiatrists and witch doctors once we are able to mingle (more) freely once again.
