peejay4A
I would use dedicated CV joint grease (I use Comma) - it's black in colour. I use it in my trunnions. Why the need to regrease the CDD driveshafts? You'll need to remove the boots as there are no greasing points - at least that I can see. joinathanbrooks
Buying new and thinking they will need to be greased or do I need not too grease?
peejay4A
Ask Alasdair at CDD if you like but as far as I’m aware they’re not serviceable (in normal use). There are no grease nipples. I’ve never done mine and they’ve been on for a couple of years. Edited January 3, 2021 by peejay4A
Waldi
Molybdenium-disulphide, MoS2 (the black grease) is what is used for applications like these. It has better properties for these “low velocity/speed” movements. NLGI 2, which specifies thickness (1 is thinner). Waldi
joinathanbrooks
Grease not required for CDD drive shafts as already done.
